Monet again paints on the Normandy coast (Dieppe, Pourville, Varengeville) and 'series' of paintings emerge.

The Paris studio is abandoned.

Following a lot of work by Durand-Ruel, the Impressionist group is partly reconciled and another Impressionist Exhibition is held. Monet shows 35 works.

Sept
